The deadline for the 2011 Doctors� Writing Contest has been extended two weeks to November 1, 2010. You still have time to send us your most compelling story�drawn from your own experience�and you could win not only a cash prize, but also the prestige and glory of being named a Doctors� Writing Contest winner! The prizes are as follows: Grand Prize $2,000, plus $500 to a healthcare charity of their choice; Runner-Up $1,000; Best Practice Solution $1,000; a Young Doctor Award (3 or fewer years in practice) $1,000; and an Honorable Mention Award winner, whose article will be published in the magazine.
